This project involved the refurbishment of the Crawford Building roof in Cork Institute of Technology.
The works included the replacement of damaged rafters, purlins and joists which had to be reconnected to the original roof structure. There was a requirement for the reforming of the lead guttering, re-felting and slating and in addition the refurbishment of the damaged interior due to dampness from the failed roof, i.e. re-plastering and painting.
