In late 2017, The Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform issued tender documentation for appointment of Contractors to a national multi-party framework agreement for the provision of rapid-delivery housing projects throughout Ireland. The Action Plan on Housing and Homelessness identified a need for houses to be provided under a Rapid-Build Housing Programme.
MEIC successfully prequalified for inclusion on the framework and undertook a number of tenders in line with the delivery schedule.
MEIC were successful in our bid to Limerick City & County Council to provide 16. No. new Design Build (DB) housing units at Lisheen Park, Patrickswell, Co. Limerick. Works commenced in January 2019.
The provision of rapid delivery housing, fully delivered for occupation (i.e. designed, constructed and/or manufactured, delivered, erected and completed and certified for occupation in accordance with the Building Regulations and Building Control Regulations) within the time frame indicated by the Framework Client.
