Tom O’Connor, has a first class honours degree in Civil Engineering and currently fulfils the role of Director and Shareholder of Glan Agua Ltd.
Tom was a founding member of Glan Agua Ltd at their incorporation in 2008. He has over 20 years experience in Civil Engineering while working in Ireland, the UK and Overseas, covering many disciplines such as the Design and Build of Water and Waste Water Projects, Road and Bridge projects, Marine Works and General Building. He has a strong focus on delivering a professional service to Glan Agua Ltd’s various clients and fostering a spirit of cooperation with our partners in the industry.
Karl Zimmerer is the Managing Director and Shareholder of Glan Agua Ltd and has over 20 years of experience in the design, construction and operation and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure throughout Ireland, with over 15 years in a Senior Management position.
Karl’s professional qualifications include an Honours Degree in Structural Engineering and a Master Degree in Project Management.
Karl is a founding member of Glan Agua Ltd and has successfully developed the business into one of the leading companies in the water services sector in Ireland providing a full range of services throughout the Industry.
John holds a PhD in Environmental Microbiology from NUI Galway. He has over 7 years of Environmental Engineering experience in a wide variety of areas including Wastewater Bioengineering, Water Treatment, Regulatory Compliance, Industrial Effluent, Project Management, Laboratory Analysis, Process Optimisation and Scientific Writing.
He is currently managing 30 plants in Galway, Roscommon and Cavan. John also manages the Mobile Centrifuge Unit for Glan Agua Ltd.
Ronan is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 15 years? experience in construction and civil engineering projects.
He is experienced in estimating, procurement and project management. Since joining MEIC Ltd in 2010, Ronan has worked as Project Manager & Senior Engineer on bridges, roads, major structures and large water infrastructure projects before progressing to Contracts Manager.
Ronan also worked as a Senior Resident Engineer on the Leitrim Towns and Villages Sewerage Scheme Contract.
