Construction of the New Entrance and Gates to Muckross House

The Muckross House Entrance Contract involved the realigning and widening of the existing entrance to Killarney National Park. The project also included for the lighting of the new entrance and the construction of the cut stone pillars and associated walls on which the new electronically controlled wrought iron gates were installed. Scope of works included:
- Realign new entrance to the park and N71 Killarney
- Widen existing entrance and installation of new lighting
- New Electrically controlled Wrought Iron Gates
- Construction of New Cut Stone Pillars and associated walls comprising of blue limestone plinths, capping & cladding.
- Castlestone paviors paved footpaths – 100m2
- Heavy duty Granite Kerbing – 105m
- Public Lighting – 12no.
- Soft Landscaping – 245m2 grassed area
