Cadbury Ireland Ltd: IPPC Licence Implementation Works Phase 1

Construction works at the Cadbury Ireland plant to comply with conditions attached to an IPPC Licence issued by the EPA. Phase 1 of the works includes the construction of a new stormwater diversion system and treated effluent recycle system. Scope of works included:
  • Construction of stormwater pipelines, Stormwater pumping station, associated controls
  • 150mm diameter - approximately 79lin.m storm rising main
  • 300mm diameter – approximately 10lin.m storm sewer
  • 450mm diameter – approximately 155lin.m storm sewer
  • 600mm diameter – approximately 40lin.m storm sewer
  • Construction of treated effluent and raw water pipelines, pumping station and associated controls
  • 150mm diameter – approximately 92lin.m treated effluent pipeline
  • 250mm diameter – approximately 65lin.m raw water pipeline
  • Construction of a reinforced concrete stormwater monitoring tank
  • Construction of a reinforced concrete stormwater pumping station
  • Construction of a reinforced concrete treated effluent pumping station
  • Construction of a gabion outfall structure at the River Blackwater
  • Water monitoring equipment including TOC analysers, flow measurement.
  • Supply and installation of 2no NS200 oil seperators
  • Installation of actuated valves and proximity switches throughout the WWTP.
  • Installation of new MCC, PLC and SCADA system
  • Installation and Commissioning
